I'm Mel, I'm a senior graphic designer here in Chicago. I've been designing locally for over 10 years mostly as an in-house designer, but I also do a good amount of freelancer work. I enjoy creating unique designs that focuses on concept and detail as well as function and user experience for the audience to create the best communications. I'm a big print fan, with experience at four magazines along with several in-house publications, collateral, banners and direct mail pieces. After my usual digital work of emails, social graphics, landing pages, and websites, I also dabble in After Effects for gifs and short promo videos. I enjoy a challenge and have only gotten more diverse in my mediums and design experience the longer I've been in the industry.

I graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2013 with a B.F.A in Graphic Design and a minor in Photography.
